Tai Nime, a prominent social activist from Arunachal Pradesh, was honoured at the 14th World Leaders Summit in Oxford, UK, with the Excellence in Social Impact and Community Development Award. Hosted by Global Empire Events Limited at Keble College, the summit brings together influential global leaders. Nime is the first person from Arunachal to receive such recognition for her decade-long humanitarian work and contributions to community development, including donating half her earnings to support underprivileged communities. In her acceptance speech, she dedicated the award to her late father, Tai Kanu, and reaffirmed her commitment to building a compassionate and united world.
