Justice M. Sundar Takes Oath as Chief Justice of Manipur High Court

Justice M. Sundar took oath on Monday as the tenth Chief Justice of the Manipur High Court. The oath was administered by Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla at a ceremony held in Raj Bhavan. He was appointed to the position on September 13 following the superannuation of Justice K. Somashekar. The swearing-in ceremony was attended by political leaders, senior government officials, High Court judges, and representatives from various bar associations. Before his elevation, Justice Sundar served as a judge at the Madras High Court, bringing extensive judicial experience to his new role as Manipur’s Chief Justice.
