Complaints included operating beyond permitted hours, entry restrictions, unauthorized enclosures, and hosting a DJ-cum-dance event without permission, near Rabindra Centenary Hall. Despite show-cause notices, owner Goutam Debnath did not respond. Following an investigation, District Magistrate Vishal Kumar revoked Licence No. 97 (dated 11 April 2025) under the Tripura Excise Act. All operations were ordered to stop immediately, with Debnath required to submit licence documents, liquor stocks, business records, and CCTV footage. The property, meant for government use, may also involve contempt of court.
