PM Modi to Inaugurate Redeveloped Tripura Sundari Temple on September 22

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Tripura on September 22 to inaugurate the redevelopment and expansion of the historic Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur, Gomati district. Chief Minister Manik Saha reviewed security and logistical arrangements on September 18. Modi will travel from Agartala’s MBB Airport to Udaipur by helicopter, offer prayers at the temple, but will not give a public address. The central government-funded project includes upgraded civic amenities, lodging, restrooms, parking, an open gallery, and eateries, aimed at promoting religious tourism. A helipad has been built at the OTPC Power Project in Palatana for the visit.
