Produced by Shankar Lall Goenka and partners, the film explores memory, guilt, trauma, and fragile family ties, set between Meghalaya’s misty hills and Delhi. It follows a man haunted by violence and a woman returning after abuse. Kurbah said the story reflects “everyday grief” in Meghalaya, with landscapes symbolizing emotions. Supported by Hello Meghalaya, the project seeks global collaborators. Kurbah, acclaimed for Market and The Elysian Field, continues to gain international recognition.
