OCI Cardholders Can Now Submit e-Arrival Form Online 72 Hours Prior to Arrival

All Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) can now fill and submit the e-Arrival card online within 72 hours prior to landing in India through boi.gov.in, indianvisaonline.gov.in, or the official 'Indian Visa Su-Swagatam' app. In the past, e-Arrival forms were handed out on flights for manual filling, which will go on for half a year. The OCI scheme, which was introduced in August 2005, enables Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) to get registered as OCI cardholders, offering concessions in travelling, connectivity, and social, economic, and educational areas. OCI cardholders are those who are enrolled as per Section 7A of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2015.
