Mizoram to Conduct Territorial Army Recruitment Rally from November 15 to 25

The Mizoram government will hold its first-ever Territorial Army (TA) recruitment rally from November 15 to 25 at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Aizawl, announced ZPM MLA and state TA coordination chairman Lt Col. Clement Lalhmingthanga. Organized jointly with the 166 Assam Infantry Battalion (TA – Home and Hearth), the rally aims to provide new opportunities for Mizo youth, including women, to serve in the armed forces. A total of 144 general duty posts will be filled, with dedicated seats for women. TA personnel will receive Indian Army pay, along with benefits like pensions and medical assistance, with tenure and extensions based on performance.
