The All Bodo Students’ Union (ABSU) held massive rallies in Kokrajhar and 30 Assam districts demanding full implementation of the 2020 Bodo Peace Accord. Protesters urged both central and state governments to address delays in political, economic, and cultural commitments. Key demands included amending Article 280 and the Sixth Schedule, granting ST (Hill) status to Boro-Kacharis, operationalising the Bodo Kachari Welfare Council, and releasing ₹1,500 crore as a special package for BTR. ABSU President Dipen Boro warned of intensified agitation if demands remain unmet and announced further protests, including a November 21 dharna at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.
