Speaking at a BJP press conference in Aizawl, he claimed that BJP-ruled states outperform non-BJP states in growth and governance. Singh expressed confidence in BJP’s prospects in the upcoming Dampa Assembly bypoll on November 11, necessitated by MNF MLA Lalrintluanga Sailo’s death. Five candidates are contesting, including BJP’s Lalhmingthanga, ZPM’s Vanlalsailova, MNF’s R. Laithangliana, Congress’s John Rotluangliana, and K. Zahmingthanga of People’s Conference.
