Arunachal CM Warns of Stern Action in Sarli-Lada Compensation Scam, Says ‘Corruption Won’t Be Tolerated’

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu vowed strict action in the alleged compensation scam linked to the Sarli–Lada stretch of the Frontier Highway project in East Kameng district. He said a High-Level Committee has been formed to investigate the case and has already submitted its preliminary report. Officials involved in the scam will be suspended within days. Reaffirming his zero-tolerance stance on corruption, Khandu emphasized that the government is transparent and inclusive, warning that anyone found guilty of misconduct in the land compensation process will face severe legal consequences.
