The Transport Department issued a show-cause notice to Ola and cited over 2,000 scooters left unrepaired at workshops. Despite earlier assurances from the company, the issue resurfaced, prompting customer protests and appeals to Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. The department is offering free legal aid to affected owners and may inspect Ola’s facilities. Ola claims it has increased manpower eightfold and improved spare parts availability. The suspension may be revoked after satisfactory inspection results.
