Traffic restrictions in Guwahati ahead of Air Force Day flypast on November 9

The Guwahati Traffic Police has announced traffic restrictions ahead of the Indian Air Force Day Flypast on November 9, with rehearsals on November 5, 6, and 8 at Lachit Ghat, Panbazar. To manage heavy traffic and ensure safety, restrictions will be in effect from 7 AM to 5 PM on November 8 and 9. Heavy, commercial, and slow-moving vehicles will be barred from major routes, including MG Road. Only vehicles with valid Air Force passes will be allowed in restricted zones. Diversions and strict parking controls will apply, and commuters are advised to follow traffic guidelines for smooth event management.
