PM Modi in Bhutan Calls Delhi Car Blast a ‘Conspiracy’

During his visit to Bhutan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the Delhi Red Fort car blast that killed 13, calling it a “conspiracy” and vowing that the perpetrators “will not be spared” and “all responsible will be brought to justice.” Speaking in Thimphu, Modi expressed solidarity with the victims’ families and said he remained in contact with investigating agencies throughout the night. Received at Paro airport by Bhutanese PM Tshering Tobgay, Modi will participate in the 70th birthday celebrations of Bhutan’s fourth king, hold talks with King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck and PM Tobgay, and inaugurate the 1020 MW Punatsangchhu-II hydroelectric project.
