Shohei Ohtani, Aaron Judge Create History with Consecutive MVP Wins

Shohei Ohtani secured his third straight MVP and fourth in five years, while Aaron Judge won the American League MVP in a close race against Cal Raleigh. Ohtani and Judge became the first duo to win MVPs in the same back-to-back seasons. Judge earned 17 first-place votes for his MLB-leading .331 average, .457 OBP and .688 slugging percentage, while Raleigh claimed 13 votes with 60 homers and 125 RBIs. Ohtani dominated the NL with 55 homers, 146 runs and a 1.014 OPS, plus a solid pitching return. Kyle Schwarber finished second in NL voting, and Jose Ramirez placed third in the AL.
