Arunachal to Hold Simultaneous Panchayat and Municipal Elections on December 15

The Arunachal Pradesh State Election Commission has announced that simultaneous general elections for Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) and the municipal bodies of Itanagar and Pasighat will be held on December 15, 2025, in a single phase. As per the schedule, the election notification and public notice will be issued on November 17, and the last date for filing nominations is November 24. Scrutiny will be conducted on November 26, while November 29 is the final date for withdrawal of nominations. Vote counting will take place on December 20, and the entire election process will conclude by December 23, 2025.
