Assam Clears Over ₹600 Lakh in Unclaimed Assets Through DEA Fund Camps

More than ₹600 lakh in unclaimed assets belonging to over 500 depositors were settled in Kamrup Metropolitan and Kamrup districts during the nationwide ‘Your Money, Your Rights’ campaign. Organised through DEA Fund awareness and assistance camps, the initiative aims to promote financial literacy and help citizens claim unclaimed deposits, insurance benefits, and mutual fund investments. Special camps were held under the supervision of district authorities, banks, and financial institutions, offering verification and KYC support. Kamrup Metropolitan accounted for ₹511.05 lakh across 327 accounts, while Kamrup district settled ₹89.59 lakh for 177 accounts, helping citizens reclaim long-pending assets.
