Indian Army Launches Agniveer Recruitment Rally in Arunachal Pradesh

The Indian Army successfully conducted the Agniveer Recruitment Rally from September 3 to 5 at the Gyaptong Regional Stadium in Rupa, Arunachal Pradesh, as confirmed by an official release. The rally was organized under the Army Recruiting Office, Jorhat, and attracted candidates from across Arunachal Pradesh who had cleared the Online Common Entrance Exam (OCEE). The event was inaugurated by the Director of Recruiting for the North East States and was attended by senior Army officials and local civil dignitaries. These officials actively encouraged and supported the participating youth, motivating them to pursue careers in the Indian Armed Forces under the Agnipath scheme.

The recruitment process saw the participation of over 380 aspirants from various districts of Arunachal Pradesh. The candidates underwent a comprehensive selection procedure that included Physical Fitness Tests, Physical Measurement Tests, documentation verification, and medical examinations, all conducted according to the Indian Army’s stringent standards. Transparency and fairness were maintained throughout the recruitment, ensuring that all eligible candidates had an equal opportunity to participate.
