IBM Launches ‘Nighthawk’ Quantum Chip, Targets Quantum Advantage by 2026

IBM has announced the launch of its most advanced quantum processor to date, the IBM Quantum Nighthawk, marking a significant step toward achieving quantum advantage—a milestone where a quantum computer can outperform all classical systems. The company highlighted that this breakthrough could occur as early as next year, signaling a major advancement in the field of quantum computing.
